Stepping Stones is a spiritual children's book that teaches life lessons to children through dreamy metaphors and spiritual teachings. Kay Mackle, the author, describes it as a visual manifestation of Maslow's Hierarchy Of Needs, which also combines teachings of the chakra. Each spread represents a different need or message, which is represented by a different colour.
As the reader weaves through the narrative, they unlock secret truths and messages. Themes explored include selflessness, self-love, acceptance of others and the pursuit of knowledge.
